Terms of Service

These terms explain how you can use Svair products and what you can expect from us in return.

We've tried to write them for people instead of lawyers. If something isn't clear, email us. We'd rather explain it than hide behind complicated language.

Your account

Keep your account secure. Use a strong password. Turn on two-factor authentication if it's available.

You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. If you think someone else has access, let us know immediately at security@svair.org.

Use it responsibly

Use Svair for lawful work.

Don't use it to harm others, send spam, break into systems, distribute illegal content or abuse the service.

If you do, we may suspend or permanently remove your account. We'll usually tell you first. In serious cases, we may act immediately.

Payment

Paid services are billed on a monthly or annual basis.

If a payment fails, we'll let you know before restricting access. If prices ever increase, we'll give you notice before the change takes effect.

Cancellation

You can cancel whenever you like.

We don't believe in cancellation fees or forcing people to stay. See our Cancellation Policy for details about billing and data retention.

Your content

What you create belongs to you.

We don't claim ownership of it. Our job is to keep it available until you decide otherwise.

Our software

No Svair source code is published publicly at the moment. If you depend on one of our products and want to read or run its source, ask and we'll share it.

How any given product is distributed may change over time. What won't change is that your access to your own work never depends on it.

Availability

We build software to last, but software isn't perfect.

Servers fail. Bugs happen. Networks go down. We'll work quickly to fix problems and communicate honestly when they occur.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Svair's liability is limited to the amount you paid us during the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Privacy

Your use of Svair is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Changes

These terms may change as Svair changes.

If we make a significant change, we'll let you know before it takes effect. If you don't agree with the new terms, you're free to cancel your account.

One last thing

We want to build products people trust for years.

These terms exist to make expectations clear, not to surprise you later.
