Refund Policy

You should know what you're paying for before you pay for it.

Before you pay

Tethr's first month is free. It starts when you accept your invite.

Authr is free for your first three books. That's three whole books before anyone mentions money.

Use it. Ignore it. Decide whether it earns a place in your day. When it's time to pay, we'll have agreed the price with you first. No surprises on a statement.

If something goes wrong

If you think we charged you wrongly or unfairly, write to hello@svair.org. We'll look into it and, if we got it wrong, put it right.

Paying ahead

If you paid for a year or more up front and want to leave early, we'll refund the months you haven't used. Paying ahead shouldn't lock you in.

When we probably won't refund

We generally don't refund accounts closed for breaking our Terms of Service, or time you've already used.

Every situation is different, though. If yours doesn't fit neatly here, ask anyway. We prefer judgement to rules.

One last thing

The free month and the free books exist so you can decide properly.

Refunds exist because sometimes people decide wrong anyway. That's allowed.
